Middle School Book Critic Workshop Begins

Farmingdale Public Library will begin its three-part Be a Book Critic writing workshop for students in grades 6 through 8 on Wednesday, September 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. The program will teach participants how to write thoughtful and effective critiques of literature. Registration is required and opens September 2 at 9 a.m. The library says combined registration covers all three September sessions, with additional dates on September 23 and September 30. Preference is given to Farmingdale Union Free School District residents.
