Public Meeting Set For Double Butte

The City of Tempe will hold a public meeting Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road, about planned rehabilitation and improvements at Double Butte Cemetery. The cemetery was established in 1888, and a recent infrastructure and historical assessment identified preservation and enhancement priorities. Residents can learn about the project, provide input at the meeting, or submit feedback online from Sept. 16 through Sept. 30.
