WalkingTown DC Returns Across Eight Wards

Hometown DC Closing Event Comes to MLK

The closing event for hometown DC will take place Wednesday, September 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library Auditorium. The event will bring together the neighborhood installations created across the District's eight wards and will include an interactive closing performance by Verbal Gymnastics Theater Company. The event is free and open to all ages. Residents can also experience the complete hometown DC exhibit at the central library from September 15 through October 5, after the ward installations are brought together.
