Museum Hosts World War II History

The North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport will present Deep Dive Into History: World War II Antiaircraft Trainer on Saturday, September 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 204 East Moore Street. The free, all-ages program explores Camp Davis, one of seven U.S. Army antiaircraft training centers during World War II. Visitors can learn through costumed interpretation and test their aim with a simulated antiaircraft weapon. The program is drop-in and does not require registration.
