Mesa Special Event Rules Face Review

Mesa's Planning and Zoning Board is scheduled to review proposed text amendments Wednesday, September 23, at 4:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 20 E. Main Street. The proposal would reorganize special event and temporary use regulations, clarify approval processes, establish duration and frequency standards, and update operational requirements intended to improve consistency and public safety. The city has posted both redline and clean draft amendments along with public input materials. Sunland Village East residents can review those documents before the meeting if they want to follow the proposed citywide rules.
