Paper And Cardboard Pickup Scheduled

Hamburg's September paper and cardboard recycling collection is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Newspapers, magazines, and junk mail should be bound in one-foot stacks and cross-tied or placed in reusable containers no heavier than 75 pounds. Corrugated cardboard must be flattened and cross-tied, while shredded paper should go in a reusable, easy-to-empty container. The borough advises residents to put recycling out the night before or by 5:00 a.m. on collection day and keep all materials free of food and waste.
