Skateboard Competition Welcomes All Ages

The 12th Annual Cultural and Heritage Skateboard Competition will be held Saturday, September 26, at Hill Park, 2201 S Maywood Ave. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by competition from noon to 2 p.m. The event welcomes all ages and skill levels, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions. Trophies will be awarded in each division, and free hot dogs will be available. Parking is closest to the skate park just south of E 20th Street South and S Hardy Avenue.
