Mayor Leads Salisbury Park Service Day

Parker's sixth annual Mayor's Day of Service will run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, September 19, at Salisbury Regional Park, 11920 N. Motsenbocker Road. Volunteers of all ages can join projects including fire mitigation in the new fireworks launch area, fence repair and painting, landscaping, trail cleanup, and beaver tree wrapping. The free project asks participants to bring work gloves, hats and identified hand-held tools. Parking is available in the southeast open area near the Polo Field or at the McCabe Meadows Trailhead.
