Western Days Opens Friday In Old Town

Lewisville Western Days begins Friday, September 25, in historic Old Town Lewisville along Church and Main Streets around Wayne Ferguson Plaza and Lewisville City Hall. Festival hours are 4 to 11:30 p.m. Admission is free before 6 p.m.; after 6 p.m., admission is $15, while children 12 and younger are free. The city says the two-day festival includes live music on six stages, food, western-themed activities, and the World Tamale Eating Championship. Eli Young Band is scheduled as Friday's headliner.
