Refuge Schedules Evening Spooky Hike

The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge will offer a Spooky Hike on Friday, October 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will take a two-mile evening walk while hearing stories about Everglades history, including tales involving ghosts, pirates, and the skunk ape. The program is not intended for children, participation is limited to 30 people, and costumes are encouraged. Residents must reserve a place by calling the refuge visitor center at 561-734-8303.
