Winter Athletic Placement Meeting Scheduled

The South Huntington Union Free School District has tentatively scheduled the Winter 2026-2027 Student and Parent Meeting for the Athletic Placement Process on Tuesday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Walt Whitman High School. The process is for select students seeking evaluation for participation in sports at a higher level than their usual age-based program. Parent permission and physical maturity forms are listed as due October 13. Because the district labels the winter dates tentative, families should confirm the meeting and form requirements with the district before relying on the schedule.
