Prescription Drug Take Back Offers Drop Off

Residents can safely dispose of unwanted or expired prescription medications during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office will accept medications at 43565 Elizabeth Road in Mount Clemens, and the Clinton Township Police Department will accept them at 37985 Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township. The county notice lists the event as a way to keep medications out of the wrong hands and reduce the risk of prescription drug misuse. Questions can be directed to 586-723-2360.
