Port Brunswick Day Returns To Winnabow

Port Brunswick Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brunswick Town and Fort Anderson State Historic Site, 8884 St. Philips Road SE in Winnabow. Admission is free. The living history program will highlight colonial life at the pre-Revolutionary port along the Cape Fear River, with demonstrations of candle-making, blacksmithing and woodworking, along with colonial toys and games for children. Residents can visit the historic site during the event to take part in the educational activities and explore the grounds.
