Traditional Calendar Students Have Monday Off

Cumberland County Schools' traditional calendar designates Monday, October 26, as a student holiday and required teacher workday for system-wide professional learning. Pine Forest families whose children follow that calendar should arrange for a day without regular classes. The date follows the October 23 end of the grading period. Families should use their child's assigned school calendar, since the district also maintains separate calendars for other school programs.
