Overnight Highway Closures Begin at Route Ten

RIDOT plans three weekends of overnight highway restrictions beginning Friday, October 16, at the I-95 and Route 10 interchange in Providence and Cranston. On October 16 and 17, both directions of I-95 will close at midnight, with southbound reopening by 5 a.m. and northbound by 7 a.m. On October 23 and 24, southbound will close fully while northbound has lane restrictions. October 30 and 31 bring southbound lane restrictions without northbound closures. Selected connecting ramps will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. RIDOT advises using alternate routes, including I-295 and Route 10. Construction schedules remain subject to change.
