Oxnard's Free Compost and Mulch Event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Del Norte Recycling and Transfer Station, 111 S. Del Norte Blvd. Residents and businesses needing one-quarter cubic yard or less can pick up material at no charge, while supplies last. No registration or appointment is required.
