Ferndale Community Picnic Returns

The City of Ferndale will host a free Community Picnic on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Martin Road Park, 1615 E. Lewiston Ave. The event celebrates America's 250th and includes free ice cream, three-legged races, tug of war, a balloon toss, yard games, face painting, music, and other activities. Residents are invited to bring a picnic lunch, blanket, or lawn chairs. The City says the event is open to everyone and is presented with Ferndale Parks and Recreation and the Arts and Beautification Commission.
