The 2026 Sunsets, Food Trucks, and Live Music Concert Series concludes its September schedule Friday, September 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Blakeslee Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach. The scheduled performer is The Hatch Brothers. The free, family-friendly concert is presented by the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce with support from the Town of Kure Beach. Residents can bring lawn chairs and use the golf-cart shuttle from the parking area to the stage. Food and drink vendors are scheduled to include Port City Plates, Something Cool Ice Cream and Good Hops Brewing.
