Back Bay Study Comment Period Ends

The public comment period for the Phase II Draft Report of the Miami-Dade Back Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study ends Friday, September 18. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Miami-Dade County are seeking comments on recommendations involving hurricane storm surge, critical infrastructure and vulnerable communities across Miami-Dade. Residents and stakeholders can review the draft report and submit comments by email or mail through the study team. The agencies also scheduled in-person and virtual meetings during September, including a Miami meeting on September 2 and a virtual session on September 9.
