Coastal Bike And Stroll Closes Roads

The fourth annual Sakonnet Coastal Bike and Stroll is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to noon in Island Park. Park Avenue, Point Road, and Hummock Point Road will be closed to motor vehicles for the event. Residents can walk, bicycle, ride scooters, or bring leashed dogs, and the event includes a children's chalk art area. Participation is free, but everyone must complete a signed waiver. Day-of registration will be available at Flo's on Park Avenue.
