Plano Parks and Recreation will host an Arbor Hills habitat restoration workday on Saturday, September 19, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. Volunteers will remove invasive plant species and may use loppers or shovels under the supervision of Blackland Prairie Texas Master Naturalists. The workday is open to adults 18 and older who can work outdoors and remain on their feet, and participants must complete a background check and volunteer waiver. The specific meeting point will be provided to registered volunteers.
