Family Campout Offers Night Under Stars

Lenexa's Family Campout will begin September 25, 2026, at Black Hoof Park, 9053 Monticello Road, and continue through the morning of September 26. Families should arrive between 4 and 6 p.m. Tents are set up near the Oak Shelter, with crafts, fishing-pole and bait reservations, campfire s'mores, morning coffee, donuts and juice. Registration is required, fees are $32 for the first four family members and $8 for each additional member, and the event can accommodate only 20 to 25 tents.
