How to Price Your Scott County, MN Home in October 2026
By Justen Vos
Scott County, MNStart your asking-price decision with recent sales of similar homes, then consider competing listings separately. Your home's differences deserve careful attention, and I'll help you weigh them without treating a countywide price as your answer.
For September 2026, Scott County single-family homes, condos, townhouses and apartments had a Median Sold Price of $436,380. The Median List Price of listings active at month-end was $501,990. The reported Sold to List Price % was 98.7%. The reported Months of Inventory figure was 3.67 months.
Asking prices and sale prices describe different groups, so their difference does not establish a negotiated discount. I would use completed sales to ground your price discussion and competing listings to understand the alternatives buyers could consider. The countywide sold-to-list price measure cannot predict your home's result.
Gather details about your home's condition, improvements and unfinished repairs so we can review differences in size, condition and features together. Separate recent sales of similar homes from listings still seeking a buyer. Choose an asking price you can explain through those comparisons, and agree with me on when to reassess it.
