Teens Assemble Comfort Packs For Patients

Commack Public Library will host Teen Volunteer: The Great Give Back on October 17 from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Students in grades 6 through 12 will assemble small comfort packs for the National Kidney Foundation, which will donate them to patients undergoing dialysis treatments. Participants receive one hour of community service credit. Registration opens October 5 at 9:00 a.m., and a Commack Public Library card is required unless a student calls the library to register. The program is limited to registered participants.
