Birding Program Tracks Late Summer Migration

Nissequogue River State Park will offer Late Summer Birding on Saturday, September 19, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. An environmental educator will guide participants to birding areas as summer species prepare to migrate south. Binoculars will be available to borrow, and birders of all experience levels are welcome. Reservations are required. Participants should meet at the Charles and Helen Reichert Administration Building at 799 St. Johnland Road in Kings Park.
