Updated: September 20, 2026
Greenland Hills, Texas, is a Dallas conservation district also known as the M Streets, located east of North Central Expressway and south of Mockingbird Lane. Developed as a cohesive residential neighborhood in the 1920s, its blocks are chiefly composed of detached houses. Tudor Revival forms are especially prevalent, alongside Craftsman, Neo-Colonial, Minimal Traditional, and other documented house types, giving the streets a consistent early twentieth-century residential character.
Glencoe Park and its neighborhood trail provide a nearby outdoor amenity, while Greenville Avenue and nearby commercial corridors broaden access to daily services. North Central Expressway forms the district's western edge, and the SMU/Mockingbird DART station provides rail connections across Dallas. These links place a historic residential setting alongside parks, services, and regional transportation, a practical combination for evaluating housing options.
